30 Grimston Gardens

30 Grimston Gardens was constructed in 1903.  It was probably originally designed and used as a large, family residence. The 1911 census records a family of five living in the property with one visitor, six servants and two domestic nurses !  As with almost all properties in Grimston Gardens, the building is currently divided into flats.  There are six spacious flats, two on each floor of the building.

The building is located on the north side of the Gardens.  Flat 4 is at the front of the building on the first floor with Flat 6 directly above.  Both flats occupy the full width of the building and are south facing.  They have uninterrupted views over the Gardens.  The  building has a large oak-panelled entrance hall with a wide staircase.  The entrance is on the left side of the building.

The freehold of the building is owned by the lessees.  Each lessee owns a 1/6 share in the freehold company.  The property is managed by Embassy Management of West Terrace, Folkestone. www.mbcuk.com
